Finding the right place to live can feel overwhelming, especially when cost is a concern. Methodist Homes of Alabama & Northwest Florida provides affordable housing for older adults through income-based and rent-restricted communities designed to encourage independence and stability.

Understanding Your Options
Methodist Homes offers two types of affordable housing, each designed to make living costs more manageable. Each community has its own qualifications and availability. Our team will help you understand which option may be right for you.
Income-Based Housing
Income-based rent means that each resident pays a different rate. Rent is generally capped at 30% of your actual adjusted gross income.
Rent-Restricted Housing
In a rent-restricted community, each resident pays the same rent. Rent is based on a percentage of the Area Median Income (AMI), not your individual income.
